INFORMATION ABOUT NUS
The theme of the NUS this year is the taboo subjects, our main goal with this is to break the taboo subject about different topics and discuss about it.
Inside NUS, we’ll have a few lecturer that will bring up different important taboo subjects, group discussion, activities and last but not least we’ll have a party night with our nordics friends and participants!
All Nordic countries send a maximum of 10 participants each aged 18-30 years old. The seminarium is for deaf and hard of hearing young people who are sign language-users.
The participant price is 1000 SEK per person for everything but the transport to/from Stockholm. The participants pays the transport for itself.

About Stockholm
We in the NUS-committee on behalf of the SDUF (Sveriges Dövas ungdomsförbund) are pleased to announce that the Nordic Youth Seminarium, NUS, will be at Stockholm which is the capital city of Sweden. The NUS will be placed in DUKIS (the club for the deaf in Stockholm).

Accomodation: Scandic Alvik Hotel, adress: Gustavslundsvägen 153, 167 51 Bromma
We will have breakfast, lunch, fika (coffee-break) and dinner each day.

Travel Information
By flight:
Book your flights to Arlanda airport or Bromma airport in Stockholm. There are public transport from Arlanda to DUKIS about 40 minutes. There are Arlanda Express (the fast train from Arlanda to Stockholm City but it doesn’t include the public transport ticket) The public transport from Bromma to DUKIS about 40 minutes.
By train:
Book your trains to Stockholm city (central) then walking about 10 minutes to DUKIS.
OBS:
The program starts 17:00 Friday 29th september. The participant pays for the public transport itself. Download the app SL and the best alternative price list is 72 hours ticket – 220 SEK for the person who has the handicapped/deaf card otherwise it is 330 SEK.
